New Article, Graveyard Rabbit Online Journal

As soldiers are coming home from war, we are reminded that not everyone comes back.  And sometimes, in international graveyards around the world, cemeteries commemorate a life well lived, a warrior lost, or just the peaceful place where someone's son is laid to rest.  Join Julie Goucher, one of our new contributors, for this week's article, "...a Long Way From Home" in the Graveyard Rabbit Online Journal.
Hop on over!

Some people do end up far from home or in forgotten corners. I have two Civil War ancestors who died in service and I have been unable to find their graves. We can imagine that, with battles going on, there was not time to bury, mark and record that burial. If a marker does still exist I hope that some takes the time to lay a flower or post a flag for them. Colleen

It is nice to see that the graves are so well-tended. If you have not already, you should add this cemetery and these burials to Find a Grave.
